Metal artist, Meris Mosher specializes in handcrafted wearable sculpture and art jewellery. Meris Mosher, creates designs under the name Point of Deparure Jewellery Designs (since 2008). She creates her works from precious and non-precious metals, combined with traditional as well as reclaimed objects.

Her unique and innovative designs are guided by her engagement with the physical history and narratives of spaces, places, and objects. Drawing on her experiences as a Maritime artist, Mosher strives to embody the spirit of her own point of departure in each distinctive piece.

Point of Departure Jewellery is now featured at Lafrienere and Pai Gallery, in Ottawa, Ontario, and Influx Gallery in Calgary, Alberta and Harvest Gallery in Wolfville, Nova Scotia.
